AP Annual Budget Approved by Cabinet
The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by CM Chandrababu, has approved the 2025-26 annual budget of Rs. 3.20 lakh crore. The budget focuses on state development, including the introduction of Super Six schemes. The budget is designed with a vision for 2047, marking a 10% increase compared to the previous fiscal year. Key allocations are expected for initiatives like "Talli Ki Vandana" and "Annadatha Sukhibhava."

Amaravati: The Cabinet meeting, chaired by CM Chandrababu, for the 2025-26 annual budget, concluded a short while ago. Finance Minister P. Ayya Vula Keshav proposed the annual budget of Rs. 3.20 lakh crore in the Cabinet. The Cabinet has given its approval to the budget. Following this, Finance Minister P. Ayya Vula Keshav and Minister Kollu Ravindra will present the annual budget in the Assembly and Legislative Council, respectively.
It is noteworthy that this will be the first full-fledged annual budget presented since the coalition government came into power. However, there has been much anticipation about how this budget will look, both in political circles and among the general public. The ruling party indicates that the budget will prioritize state development, along with the inclusion of Super Six schemes. Preliminary details suggest that the Finance Department has prepared the budget with a vision for 2047. Compared to the 2024-25 fiscal year, this budget is 10% larger. Significant allocations are expected for schemes like "Talli Ki Vandana" and "Annadatha Sukhibhava."
